As winter gives way to the beauty and new birth that spring offers, it’s good to pause and reflect on the wonders of the world around us. This week’s MusicMonday is a song that speaks to the amazing nature of the creation that is around us. Whether you believe that God created the earth and six calendar days and rested on the seventh or believe something different, no one can deny that the world around us speaks to a beauty unlike any other.

Today I want you to look into the sky and see the crystal blue dome overhead. Admire the clouds as they float across the sky. Watch as tulips and daffodils pop through the cold hard ground. Ponder the trees and how they begin to bud in the warmth of the spring sunshine. Then tonight as the sun sinks beyond the horizon and the stars take over the night sky, consider the size of the universe. Think how every star is hung in just the right place. Admire their twinkling and reflective nature. They absorb what’s around them and don’t hold anything back. They simply cast it off to the world beneath.

It’s as if all of the world is speaking the same voice. Dead things come alive in the spring. What once was dormant now is vibrant and growing. And if all of creation can speak in one voice perhaps so should I

This week go for a walk, take a run around a trail, sit on your patio, take in a bonfire, or spend a little bit of time outside. As you soak up the sun and watch God light up the night sky ask yourself, could this be an accident? And if all of creation can echo in one voice the glory and majesty of the creator unlike anything we could imagine perhaps perhaps today so will I
